3. All pets entering the Kennel must be healthy and current on vaccinations. Vaccination requirements
are determined by Dr. Todd for the health of all the pets in the Kennel. New clients will find that
vaccinations requirements are very stringent and may require certain vaccinations not routinely
administered by their personal veterinarian. We have a very low incident rate of pets getting sick at
the Kennel and we want to keep it that way. The Kennel is a hotel not a hospital. Sick pets should be
taken to a veterinary hospital.
4. Pets can have a problem while at the Kennel the same as they can at home. When we observe a
medical problem it is addressed and treated based on the severity of the problem. Most often this
involves something simple which can be addressed at the Kennel without the necessity of transporting
the pet to a hospital. Any serious problem or anything which may affect other pets is immediately
taken to a hospital, as the client is responsible for any veterinary charges incurred. Dr. Todd makes
every effort to control these charges incurred.
Dr. Todd and his associate veterinarians make all medical/veterinary decisions relating to all pets in
the Kennel. This includes but is not limited to health requirements for incoming pets such as
vaccinations and any other problems that could affect other pets in the Kennel.
5. Owners should bring enough of their pet(s) food for the duration of the stay. Changing diets may
cause upset stomachs and diarrhea.
6. For sanitary and parasite control reasons, we provide all bowls and bedding which we wash every
day. We do not allow clients to put their own blankets etc. in runs as these would be impossible to
keep clean. Dogs can choke on toys and bones, so we can’t put them in runs either.
7. No Pit Bulls, American Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers or their mixes will be allowed at the Kennel.
8. New customers will be asked to pay in advance. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
for any reason.
1. All charges, including any veterinary charges, must be paid in full
prior to pets leaving the Kennel; we don’t do any billing. There is a
2 day minimum boarding charge on all pets staying overnight. Any
additional services such as training, grooming, PlayTimes,
medication, veterinary expenses, etc. are charged over and above
the base boarding charge. We will do anything our clients wish to
pay for as long as it is not harmful to the pet. “You got the money,
we got the time.”
2. Kennel office hours for check-in and out are: Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Sunday 4:00 pm
- 7:00 pm. Boarding is charged for the day pets come in regardless
of time. Pets checked out prior to Noon are not charged for that
day. Pets picked up on Sunday are charged for Sunday. The charge
would be the same if the pet was picked up before Noon on
Monday.
