Whether your pets need care for the weekend, while you are on a two or three week vacation or for several months during a move, we provide the space, care and programs pets need. We have large indoor and outdoor runs for dogs, not just little cages. Cats enjoy the privacy of a separate cat room.

Every year we board and/or train thousands of dogs. Our professional staff includes a resident manager, staff veterinarians, behavioral psychologists, trainers and animal care specialists.

Country Acres Kennels is a hotel, training camp, and spa for healthy pets. All pets must be healthy and have current vaccinations prior to entering the Kennel. New clients are encouraged to tour the Kennel prior to boarding and discuss any special needs their pets may have.

For our guests who enjoy additional exercise and play we have swimming pools, play yards, and agility courses to meet their needs. For a small additional charge, a staff member will play ball, Frisbee and swim with your dog as many times as you want. Playtime is great interactive fun for your pets.

The La Petite Chien Room (FR: small dog) is a unique boarding experience for socially active puppies and small dogs under 20 lbs. Similar to the concept of children's day care centers, this room offers numerous interactive play periods interspersed with rest periods each day. Your small dog or puppy has the opportunity to socialize with other dogs in small supervised groups. Lots of treats, toys and play equipment are introduced by the staff to insure your dog's enjoyment.

This room is open only during the summer, all major holidays and for birthday parties for dogs boarding at the kennel. This room is very popular and space is limited. Please book reservations early.

If your dog (any size) is celebrating his/her birthday while boarding at the kennel, please let us know at check in and we will have a party complete with treats, party hats, pictures and other dogs to play. Charge is $10.00.

Many of our regular clients tell us that their dogs get very excited the second they turn on to the Kennel road. Upon going home, many dogs sleep very well for the next several days because of the fun and exercise they received during their stay with us.

Tour Times: Monday thru Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 1 pm to 4 pm.
